Statements on Knowing the Lord Jesus

What does being a Servant of the Lord Jesus look like?
For one it means not only following the teachings of the Lord Jesus but knowing him. Knowing him in the sense of being in relationship with him. King Jesus tells us in the scriptures that there will be a day when all come to the feast in the Kingdom (Luke 13:29).

But not all person who say they know him will be able to attend it.
I have often question that.
The why…. Then one day the Lord taught it to me.By this simple question do I really know the Lord Jesus and follow him? Do I trust in him alone and not myself ?(Prov 3:5) Do I trust him to bring things to pass? (Prov3:6)
If I do know him then I should not be afraid. I know for myself I am not afraid of not knowing him. See no matter what I believe in Him. He is real and has plans for me.

Purposes

I used to sit and wonder about my purpose in life. At first I thought it was to be a great Warrior and person. I thought wow I could do this or that. I am so this or so that. Till I realized how empty I was. Then I tried to find religion. I tried most of the isam's, from the east to the south. Then I tried not to believe untill it happened.

Jesus crashed into my darkness. The life I lived was so over.... that was a good thing.

It took sometime but the I started to see the purpose in my life. It was to serve the Lord Jesus and those around me. The great thing is now I know purpose. It is to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus. Now you may ask how is that done and what do you mean Jesus crashed into darkness?

Hint: All is not what it seems. This life is so much more than what you think it is. There are things going on in places unseen and freedom from the worst of your behaviours.
